FEMALE INFANTICIDE IS STILL PRATICED IN SOME OF THE VILLAGES OF INDIA WHERE ABORTION IS NOT AVAILABLE 89% OF ALL WOMEN IN THE STATE OF ORISSA ARE ILLITERATE INDIA IS A YOUNG NATION. THE LIFE EXPECTANCY IS STILL VERY LOW. 87% OF INDIANS ARE UNDER 30 YEARS OF AGE. 50% OF INDIANS ARE UNDER18 YEARS OF AGE. THIS IS WHY WE MUST REACH THE CHILDREN. ALSO, CHILDREN’S HEARTS ARE GENERALLY MORE OPEN TO THE GOSPEL. THE GOAL OF W.O.M. IS TO RESCUE AS MANY GIRLS AS POSSIBLE FROM A LIFE OF DEPRAVATION,. ILLITERACY, SPIRITUAL DARKNESS AND HOPELESSNESS. TO GIVE EACH CHILD A “ HOPE AND A FUTURE” THROUGH GOD’S LOVE. THE HOUSE OF REFUGE NOT ONLY PROVIDES EACH GIRL WITH SHELTER, BUT PROPER CLOTHING, NOURISHING FOOD, A QUALITY EDUCATION, MEDICAL ATTENTION AND SOLID CHRISTIAN TRAINING.
